Let's Get Naked!

Updated: Jan 2, 2021

Although it's starting to get chilly, I'm totally in the mood to get and Stay Naked, how about you?!?

Okay, get your mind out of the gutter, lol. I'm talking about my excitement about this @urbandecaycosmetics Stay Naked Foundation and Concealer. Several months ago I tried this product in a local Sephora while helping my sister-cousin select a good foundation. We both loved the feel, texture and finish of this lightweight foundation and just like that another thing was added to my never-ending makeup and skin care shopping list. Although we both are in-between shades 61 NN and 71 NN and will need to mix both shades to get an exact match but this is a minor annoyance to me and honestly, happens a lot. That being said, the shade range for this foundation collection is a good selection of shades for a variety of skin tones and undertones. So after shopping online and finally receiving my new Urban Decay goodies, here's what I have to say...

I love this Urban Decay Cosmetics Stay Naked Concealer and Foundation! I wore them both solely for a couple of months and then reordered, so this will be added to my regular foundation rotation with a few other favs. Please note that I have oily skin so this is one reason I am digging this foundation, if you are dry, another UD formulation might be better for your skin type. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Right now I need a lot of coverage for dark spots (acne scars), which the concealers take care of without being super thick or cakey. I ordered two concealers, one is a little darker than my skin tone in a red/orange shade to serve as a corrector and applied before the foundation on dark spots. The other concealer is a little lighter than my skin tone in a neutral shade that I mixed a little with the corrector shade to apply before my foundation. Then I used a little more of the lighter concealer shade after I applied the foundation to highlight around my eyes, under my cheekbones and the center of my chin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The foundation is a liquid formula and is very lightweight - it feels like nothing on the face and has a skin-like finish. Although my skin tone and undertone is warm and yellow (I'm pretty yellow without makeup 😆), the closest shade to my complexion is maybe slightly lighter but in a neutral shade. What I might love most about this foundation, is that once it dries, I can touch my face and it doesn't feel goopy, greasy or sticky.

For all the reasons above, this foundation is a WINNER and gets a thumbs up from me!
